Who Get It

Personalised Support Systems started with a simple idea: disability support should feel like real life, not a service. Two founders. Two hubs. One crew that actually cares.

How We Got Here

Personalised Support Systems started because we saw what wasn't working.

Too many providers treat support like a transaction. Rotating rosters. Clinical language. Staff who clock in and clock out. We wanted something different - support that feels like friendship, delivered by people you'd actually want to spend time with.

Fernando founded Personalised Support Systems after more than a decade working in the disability sector. With a background in Exercise Physiology and a belief that support should be personal - not procedural - he built the company around one idea: match the right people, and everything else follows.

Matthew came to disability support after watching his mother find joy in this work. He ran his own service before joining forces with Fernando, bringing operational know-how and a hands-on approach. Even while running the business, Matt still works directly with participants - because that's the whole point.

Together, they've built something that works: a team of younger, energetic support workers who feel more like older siblings than staff. Purpose-built facilities that feel like places you'd want to be. And a reputation for actually showing up - consistently, reliably, and with energy.

What We Stand For

Support Should Feel Like Friendship

We match based on personality, not just availability. The right fit changes everything.

Young Energy, Real Experience

Our team are youthful and relatable - but trained, experienced, and backed by solid systems.

Independence Is The Goal

We're not here to do things for you. We're here to help you do more for yourself.

Consistency Builds Trust

No rotating rosters. Your support worker becomes someone you know and look forward to seeing.

Families Matter Too

We keep you in the loop. Updates, photos, open communication. You should never have to wonder.

Why Personalised Support Systems?

There are a lot of NDIS providers in Melbourne.
Here's what makes us different:

Younger Team, Better Connections:

We deliberately hire support workers who are youthful, energetic, and easy to relate to. Our team feel like older siblings and role models - not clinical carers. That's by design.

Matching That Actually Works:

We spend time getting to know every participant before we assign a support worker. Goals, interests, personality, vibe. The right match makes everything easier.

Two Purpose-Built Hubs:

We've invested in state-of-the-art facilities in Melbourne's East (Nunawading) and North West (Sunbury). Music rooms, art studios, gyms, sensory spaces, kitchens - real spaces designed for real life.

Staff Who Stay:

Our support workers want to be here. Low turnover means consistent relationships, not a revolving door of new faces every few weeks.

Leadership that shows up:

Fernando and Matt aren't just names on a website. They're in the hubs, working with participants, and accessible when you need them.

Two Hubs.
Two Communities.
One Vibe.

We've built purpose-designed spaces where participants can access group programs, connect with their support workers, and be part of a community.

To now finally after 23 years, be able to take a step back from my son's care, knowing he is well looked after medically, mentally, socially and emotionally and allow him the independence he deserves, is a huge relief. The trust I have in this company and these young men caring for my son is immense.
- Parent

Finding Personalised Support Systems has been the best thing to happen to me in a while. I'm forever grateful for making life fun at a time it could have been dreadful - getting me out of the house and into the world, and giving me support workers who became just as much my friends.
- Sam
